I agree. But surely not with the frequency and industrial scale we've seen ever since the creation of central banking. Which by the way, contrary to common belief, was not just prior to WWI (that was just the Fed), but in the late 17th century in Europe, and always with the same purpose: to finance and enable States to do perpetual, mass-scale wars.
Very productive comment, thanks.
(You're muted now, bye!)
I have used Protonmail for years, I was just curious about the other services. But I will take a look, of course. Thanks!
I haven't seen an offer for a family plan. But I don't have a lot of devices anyway. The captcha thing may be annoying but I use VPN for "select" uses only and this will be strictly for work.
This is good advice. I intend to use this for work purposes only though.
Does anybody use/have used/have advice or anything to say about Proton's paid services? Thinking about getting the full package with VPN and all that, to consolidate services.
Isn't BitVM more relevant now? Not saying discussing one excludes the other.
Hot take straight from Global.
Actually I've said many times, also here, that my stance on Bitcoin is not that it will destroy the status quo and the 0.01%, but that it will give plebs access to them.
A portion of the incumbents will ignore it and be swept aside, and the 0.01% will shed some unnecessary and lazy fat, as it constantly does, nothing special here. Another chunk is still fighting it, and by the time they give up, they will be late to the party.
But another chunk will transition to the Bitcoin regime through cooptation and force, as incumbent elites often manage to do with every revolution. nostr:note1f9dkqf6y6lnum3vdyhy52zyk84vka7ch9r63w78dlw6dgzsu8hxss0e8r7
And this is why this whole concept of spending sats today for the sake of "the circular economy" and "adoption" is so shortsighted. Every sat than is spent today will find its way to Blackrock.
The time to spend sats, if there is ever one, because I don't think that's BTC's value proposition, will only be once we have achieved a market cap so large that BTC stops being volatile and you can be sure you can replenish sats for sats.
You know a dip is in when you can find plenty of Bisq trades for 5% or less premium, even though Binance is down in Europe.
If you find yourself on the side of the likes of Ian Bremmer and the Fourth EU Reich, stop for a second and reevaluate. Doesn't mean you have to like Elon or Twitter.
I didn't say I read or believe mainstream media. The link I gave you is from a mainstream media agency, but all the information is publicly available for you to verify. Whatever fairytales your alleged mercenary friend tells you, they reside in a much lower level of credibility.
Stop making up or repeating made up shit and stick to numbers and facts. If the blockade is the issue, Egypt can open the border. In fact, if Gaza used to be Egypt, I'm sure Egypt and Israel can work something out, like they did with the Sinai.
Apparently not. So one more reason to ditch it -- were it not that all my family, friends and work acquaintances will just not stop :/
Non-Zionist Jews and Israelis are a thing. They protest and organize against the religious and neo-Zionist nationalists. They have opinions and a variety of political platforms and compete against them democratically. Obviously, there has been Zionist/religious Jewish terrorism against these other Jewish and Israeli factions, just like there has been or still is political violence in most democratic nations.
The Arabs in Gaza, on the other hand, voted Hamas as their representatives. They do not protest against Hamas or their so called "government". They do not show dissent with Hamas. And let's remember that Hamas' charter calls for the elimination of the Israeli state, not for the 1948 partition agreements or any other form of coexistence.
https://njump.me/ links make great Telegram previews, with "instant view" support that make reading big notes easy for noninitiates:
Doesn't work on WhatsZuck though :/
Njump.me test note
Ohh nice. I thought you would be doing some sort of tech voodoo 😂
I know how to look into a note's JSON and I recognized the e and p tags, and the other metadata but I couldn't figure out if the relays where somehow included there.
Non-techie question: how do you know that?
