It tastes good actually. You do have to get past the smell, though.
The pro-terrorist "logic".
Terrorist organization rules a border territory with impunity. Israel demands that the sovereign state of Lebanon remediates this situation. If they don't, the Israel will.
For the pro-terrorist demented brain, this means that Israel "wants the territory". Because the victim is the aggressor and right is wrong.
Neurologically normal people, on the other hand, can easily see that:
1. Lebanon behaves like a peaceful cooperative neighbor and remedies the situation within its own borders. Israel can help, or stay out of it.
2. Lebanon wants, but can't, control what happens within its own borders. Then someone should, and Israel seems to be the most interested and capable party.
3. Lebanon simply does not want to behave like a peaceful neighbor and is actually OK with conceding control of its territory to a terrorist army. Then Lebanon is an aggressive state and Israel has the right to defend itself and pacify its borders. nostr:note165h5n8e6cpnhjauau28mv8xkyn8t93djyn8ut0snprkn5ce3gncqyq8v8n
This is the explanation. It's simply a matter of lack of interest by the masses and its masters. Do not fool yourselves about the angel-like nature of people here or "the algorithm" as the reason why people are uncivil on Twitter. nostr:note1hrr3cgsacj2khe2vskvskewhhzu0huf3pqz0hz66kcwhslzq4eeqnfxsf4
In Europe, the iOS Youtube app cannot be minimized down to run while you do other stuff. In the US, same phone, same app, it can.
Fuck these dystopian motherfuckers.
As I keep saying, there are a bunch of grifters in the Bitcoin Maxi world who manipulate you emotionally and the cause of Bitcoin purely and simply for personal profit. The fact that instead of your fiat they are trying to take your bitcoin only makes them worse than your run of the mill crypto or fiat scammer. nostr:note1635czfgulgxu9m7vtyzu7cmqh67d3yu3f45xal558ha4nejm75uqc75jjv
Now he is "a staunch supporter of Bitcoin"... Next month the bitcoin press will be calling him "Possibly Satoshi Nakamoto", at this rate.
Milei has only tangentially mentioned bitcoin to say, indeed, that it represents a return of money creation (in the sense of determining what is money and what isn't) to private hands, as it was historically and must be functionally. That's all. His plans do not include to make BTC legal tender or even to put it in the reserves. We could expect a liberalization of the anti-crypto laws currently in place, but let's see what the IMF has to say about that.
Incidentally, Milei isn't proposing to switch from the peso to the USD either. He never has. What he has always said, with very precise and careful language, is that the ability of the Central Bank to print pesos as a means to monetize the government's debt, caused by unbridled politically motivated government expenditure, is a huge moral hazard and risk that he can't see a way out of due to Argentina's political and social history, other than by shutting the Central Bank down. Paired to that, after solving or at least getting under control the short term problem debt that is choking Argentina, through a program of expenditure cuts and budget balancing, he will allow citizens to choose what currency they freely want to use. Bank deposits will be in USD. The assumption is that the public will naturally choose to operate in USD. Given that the Central Bank will not be able to print any more pesos either, it is thought that the peso will simply phase out by natural means. nostr:note1r94hlmr5nasufrptlv5p0wl04psumnunwtw7vgxesnjy7vvyf3ysxja8zv
You know what I mean despite the typos.
The fact that most mobile apps won't even load unless you have a fill blasting 5G antenna up your rectum should app devs think seriously about what the fuck they're doing and how efficient their code is. Just saying.
JP Spears nailed it 🤣🤣
"Hey man! Have you bought any Bitcoin yet?"

A protocol-level policy that makes it impossible to censor transactions, I surmise.
"Money laundering" is simply not paying protection money to the armed thugs. nostr:note1cuppcgpe8rv8p73f6efxtk79a0ww5yu54fwgdrnygpdmnyhardaqtpjt9z
LOL exactly what I said. It's literally the last sentence in the article.

In fact all that "laundered" means is that you didn't pay your protection money to the armed thugs who "provide you with services" that you never contracted. nostr:note14umwx8n6l8cgwf59a2k79dhaauzhu89vk5hhwhy8jgp6pss9l5pqyvhxgj
To me what this signals is what I keep saying and so many people get so offended by: BTC is not good currency. It's simply too valuable and doesn't work for small transactions. Forget about monkey bitmaps for a second. When you have institutions moving millions of dollars in purchase power per transaction, how high do you think fees will be? nostr:note1kd2zjss5zp4jns0974hxed4ftzpy53ug4qxzqj8u9zezvp9tdetq08uay9
I didn't know Iraq or Lybia were "Islamic countries" or that the invasions, aggression and regime change that undeniably the US perpetrated against those states were religious in nature and motivation. Even the Israel question isn't a religious matter, but an ethno-national one.
The fact that the pro-terrorist, pro-islamist infiltrators and factions among us in the West, and the anti-Western regimes abroad insist on making it a religious matter says a lot.
There is no realm of possibility in the universe in which I ever support an islamist block, faction or State, full stop. Islamism is an evil ideology and anything it touches is poisoned forever as far as I'm concerned.
As a consequence, any potentially just (from my point of view) cause that becomes entangled with islamism or a global muslim identity, will automatically lose my support. nostr:note1x34yrrgcvfg2nv0snrr7l0p5gxmykzv5acd7du7659s6tfl8kg4qngkchv

The Nostr is the only protocol I'm using now after dropping the centralized ones years ago, so you could say I'm a Nostr maximalist.
That said, if you come from centralized platforms with a good engagement record, I would sincerely advise you to keep using them and do not expect to simply switch over in an evening.
You will get a lot less engagement here and may become frustrated. Instead, just be patient, post consistently as a secondary platform, or maybe mirror all your posts elsewhere here.
I think the Nostr will eventually grow and give you lots more satisfaction, but it will take time and we don't want people to burn out!
Holy crap. Maybe rather than productivity it was all real estate smoke and mirrors, and a lot of China cash being washed, though...
