Scam industrial complex nostr:note168fl7uxealtznmtvs0czy6q706egu00z4wtkapv6g439eerf4qks2d39sa

Ha, the formal economy going bankrupt from scams because they can't adapt is fitting.

Anyway I gave a more nuanced response regarding incrementalism, but full compliance not attempting to change anything, but just get Bitcoin to fit for these people I don't care for, is not interesting to say the least and the services built around that usecase are simply not useful for me and so I would prune that from my feed best I could.

Oh and to say the most rather than the least, its unacceptable.

This will seem to contradict what I've said before about the formal economy being pretty useless and not worth building for.

"This dichotomy is critical because we see that in the end, we see that neither of these competing approaches, the anarchist vs the incrementalist, is enough on its own.

Its only by putting aside petty differences and joining hands in pursuit of a bigger goal that we can find our true selves and win the future"

This entire video is worth a watch, but that section is relevant for this discussion.

If you can't cringe and still take seriously a message being presented, maybe I could alternatively offer probably the only good star wars series produced by Disney. "Andor". It has intentionally slow pacing (so perfectly my style) and can be best described probably as star wars as a soap opera. It features people in both the rebellion and the empire basically just being people doing what they believe is best for themselves contextualized by their job title or position in society (both high and low).

But that message presented by that slow paced soap opera might be a little high speed so back to kill LA kill and Amboss.

I admit I do not understand Ambos's actions from an incrementalist perspective. I can only hope there is some subverted intention in there (however unlikely coming out a profit driven business)

What I do know is that contextualized by where I stand, what Amboss is doing is useless for me and useless things inherently can not justify being used.

So yes, I probably won't use Amboss. nostr:note15vfes2r6at9fhzu99zj860kjlh89zrv03clxmj97fy56p6f0m4sqsn43vf

No I wouldn't complain about that. I don't expect that at all. This is the way of the formal economy. Its useless. The informal economy is where freedom lies. Its the only place worth putting in effort to build.

Oh I get it, the 3rd option requires a massive infrastructure budget paid by the state and the second option uses existing infrastructure and switching to electric cars is paid by each individual

Because our infrastructure is ossified, we can't have nice things nostr:note19g72kxjnv8a7mf9a7lgm0h04lnu7mjypd4lwdfm2r8vv4dej4k3s88n36a

How does someone with a client fully featured with all the NIP specs know when a damus user does an air reply?

You've been pushing for multiparty channels with justice transactions? That doesn't require a soft fork you know. I mean I haven't known you for that long I guess, but I've never seen you push for that.

On the other hand there is actually a CLN implementation of Eltoo style multiparty channels so the idea that no one wants to work on multiparty channels does seem disingenuous. I think people just believe that multi-party channels with justice transactions is a bad idea and don't want to work on that

Nothing is inevitable.

Inventive compatible sure

Easy to use sure

Makes the most sense for the problem at hand sure

No matter how many check boxes something has going for it though, real life still requires human action.

So get off your ass

Organize a Bitcoin meetup

That evolves into a circular economy

Explain to people why on-chain fees are high

Explain to them how to mitigate them with lightning

Explain to them how fees work during force closures

And if you struggle with those things come back to us with feedback on what your community needs to succeed.

Unless its a soft fork, then keep it to yourself lel nostr:note1m8nhfxmz5w897hmpypmf8dlgskfn85txwc9vcfm3ulnfgl96d9vqqs0xwv

How do you feel about multiparty channels with justice transactions?

Its hard for everybody.

Don't use dating apps that only show algorithmic suggestions (such as tinder). They aren't designed to find you a date. They're designed to keep you on the platform.

Instead, try to find one that shows you people online within a configurable radius in a list you can scroll through. No algorithm, just a clear cut dating pool.
