Unpopular opinion: I am pro Ordinals🫣🔫. I don’t care about JPEG NFTs , I would never purchase a Ordinal . HOWEVER I do believe that not only is #Bitcoin the hardest money ever invented but I also believe it is the greatest immutable ledger of all time . Ordinals makes Fahrenheit 451 impossible . The government wants to censor information and demand it be taken down everywhere on the internet ( Patriot Act 🤡🌎) well Ordinals makes it impossible. 3D printed gun CAD, government censored information, all kinds of use cases . I am not a computer scientist and do not have the technical knowledge to determine if this could be a attack vector . I also acknowledge Ordinals could be exploited in a attack against Bitcoin if say a economic hitman style type mission was executed on Ordinals . Like what if Ordinals was attacked by China in a under cover mission minting child porn or something else disgusting and then say “ look Bitcoin is a hub for pedo porn “ . But I believe this sways toward good for humanity more then bad . I am also pro robust transaction fees on the base chain. I believe miners being incentivized to secure the base layer is a good thing . Full disclosure I acknowledge I may be completely wrong on this . Just one plebs unpopular opinion. My main thesis is that this will fade away and be a nothing burger except for few major mints like 3D gun design and other unforeseen future developments that could prove useful to humanity .
