I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this. I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Good morning nostr, its a pleasant 67F right now, but our days have started to get pretty warm lately. Not sure what i'll be working on today, i have alot to catch up on around the house. The new chicken run area is almost done, maybe i'll have time to work on that a little too. I got an email from start9 that a unit is on the way back to me. Not sure if they worked on the original one, or if this is a new one, we'll see. Good morning nostr, its the middle of the week again and i still have alot of catching up to do. I'll be working on getting the new area for the young chickens ready to for them. Its simply the old greenhouse frame we used to have as the main chicken coop. I want to make a transition area for younger chicks before introducing them to the main flock. But i have a few other chores i need to work on too, so maybe i'll make a little progress.
