So when the time comes to go back to the source, they resist, they cling to the things they acquired, the person they think they are, the agreements they’ve made. Rather than understanding none of that was really real in the first place, it was only part of the journey of observation. Active energy.

Every time we have a little bit of ego death, we also die a little bit so that we could be born a new as one. Passive energy.
