Thanks nostr:npub1sweetl0gskmka0n5qevt7v2wj9q56ntwkmaeywffw4ftaucmcakquhns6h for the advice!

Was able to get NIP-05 verification using my Wordpress Store URL! Super easy! Next just need to figure out self-hosted lightning address.

Awesome! Check into either BTCpay server or LNbits for self hosted LN address 👍

Love seeing honey jars arriving safely to their destination!

Reminder: Coupon code 'NOSTR' still good for 10% discount on the sticky icky. HONEY... I'm talking about honey. 🐝

If the other peer was offline then your only choice is to force-close the channel, which typically incurs much higher on-chain fees than cooperative closures. This is just the nature of the network, not a penalty but a reality. One of the reasons that small channels are not economically viable on LN, costs > benefits.

Awesome thank you 🙏🏼 just woke up more orders to pack up and send out! 💛

Thanks for the support man! I am definitely a huge proponent of buying local whenever possible. Something I have been thinking about is that Bitcoin makes everything local =) It opens the door to buying ‘local’ coffee from El Salvador, ‘local’ beef from Texas, etc. Our main market will (hopefully) always be loyal local customers but we are really excited to be able to share our products with more ‘local’ Bitcoiners from all over the place!

Awesome thank you! I bet there’s a difference in taste, I love trying new honeys. We notice differences from season to season even, sometimes darker, richer, sometimes lighter.

The sizes listed are different jar sizes (photos coming soon!). The two smaller sizes 8oz and 12oz are in standard hex honey jars. The extra large 44oz is in a large mason jar. Jars are expensive so cost of honey goes down in bigger jars ;-)

nostr:npub18kpw3akvdsyk239lx0jgwksr74sq4nlha3r8u9g2rnrhztfpfhysy469c4 tag didn’t work first time around. I’m gonna need more stickers!

Packing boxes of honey with the last of my @bitcoin.rocks stickers. 👇

We just sent out honey to EIGHT different states in the FIRST DAY! Amazing ☺️

I am not a ‘builder’ but have been thinking for a long time how to integrate bitcoin more into the ‘real’ world in general and into our IRL farm business specifically. Even though we already accept Bitcoin at farmer’s markets and our farmstand, I wanted to try something that was specifically Bitcoin— Operating on a bitcoin standard with a self-hosted site backed by nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg. We happened to have a bumper harvest of honey this year and last week’s snow storm left me with enough screen time in front of the fire to finally put the pieces together.

Really stoked to participate in the circular economy with all the other amazing bitcoin business out there. Spend sats / earn sats / stack sats / zap sats!

Thanks everyone for your support of our little experiment 💛 LFG

We currently have a dozen hives but have already lost one early this winter. Winter is tough up here, we always have some losses by spring which we will need to replace with splits from the other hives. By March they will start flying again and the the worst is past
