An argument against self-custody of #crypto is that it is too risky because you have to understand what you’re doing and only tech-minded people really master the good practices. There is truth to this but there are risks involved in any type of value storage. For instance, do you really understand the risk profile of the bank at which you keep your money? Have you even researched it? #SVB was very popular among entrepreneurs who are well advised in corporate finance and still it didn’t seem many were understanding the risks they were sitting upon.
