Now, Ledger launches the « Recover » service which requires government ID verification and could potentially be subject to government censorship. Coincidence or compliance?

I wish Twitter would have allowed users to categorize/label their tweets in custom feeds that each reader would have had the option to follow or not follow as opposed to follow the entire account. Twitter feeds were way to noisy especially when replies were mixed with tweets.

Teams launching a new #blockchain should take advantage of #crypto identity primitives such as Idena.io to prevent the concentration of their initial tokens distribution. Some distribution models that could be adopted:
- equal distribution: each person can only contribute the same amount (or contributes nothing = airdrop) to receive an equal share.
- distribution with a tier system: each person can contribute crypto to a predefined tier amount.
- max capped distribution: each person can contribute as much or as little as long as they don’t exceed the capped amount.
- quadratic distribution: each person can contribute as much or as little as they want, but smaller contributions yield more than larger contributions.
All these mechanisms allied to a crypto identity primitive (one person = one contribution) would prevent to smaller or greater extent the initial token distribution to be captured through capital concentration.
