Your balance is say 30,000.00 in your account.
Do you really think that you actually have 30,000.00 at your disposal when you want to withdraw it?
The depositors at Lehman Brothers and Silicon Valley Bank did.
Why then are so many banks failing?
Banks should tell you correctly like this:
Your real balance here in the bank is only 3,000.00
The rest is not with us.
Of the 30,000.00, 27,000.00 is no longer with us, but lent out.
To various companies that will only return this money 30, 60, or 90 years from now, or never again, like your loan to Lojas Americanas.
Be aware that if more than 15% of you withdraw your balances on the same day, our Bank will collapse, as Bear Stearns and Silicon Valley Bank did.
Thank you for trusting our Bank, and those we lend to without your consent.
This is a system invented by economists and is called "fractional reserve".
Where reserves are a small fraction of what you have "deposited"
From the financial system called bitcoin, what you see in your address is exactly what you can withdraw immediately.
If banks and their economists explained the truth there would be no bank run, no one would even deposit in the first place.
This is why bitcoin is up 30% since the first bank crash.

Bitcoin is not the only piece of the puzzle, but hard money is the logical place to start as it enables all the other pieces to fall in place. #Permaculture and #Civics are the other two big ones that I personally target bwcause Food and Gubmint can actually be reformed when fiay is removed from the equation.
