Elon is plausibly just an extension of the US Military Industrial Complex. If I wanted to destroy Twitter and centralize all that dialogue on my captured from the start platform (Facebook) who has been hiring a bunch of my former employees with security clearances he's the guy I'd nominate for the job.

I intentionally fragment my platforms between form factors. Self hosting stuff and open protocols make it a lot easier. I think that being able to choose the "best" device for each format to meet my use case has increased my productivity post initial setup.

It absolutely loves lists, which can be helpful at times and really annoying at others. You can explicitly tell it not to use formal lists and it will at least use natural transitions.
