this is a bit too radical, you should have used a :vsplit vim command to achieve a split screen effect.
Bybit hack is exactly why money and smart contracts should never exist at the same logical level. It's like adding a grocery store to a gold vault - fun, probably convenient for some, but an absolute security nightmare.

you can p2p into usdt and then sell that through exchange. kind of like a proxy between real money and kyc dictatorship money.
but in general, until bitcoin is accepted directly, we will have to deal with this bs, and find workarounds which exist in every situation. having one kyc'ed address with provable source of funds solves many problems - they already know your identity anyway if you are buying fiat, so just show them something they can be happy with.
they did too much too soon without educating the public first - same as alpaca socks for bitcoin in 2012, it was more of a gimmick. bitcoin will be eventually accepted by necessity, not by government decree.

it is an asset, the one which retains value and can be trivially converted into risky payment currencies such as dollar or lightning
