Talking with friends about decentralized technologies that allow freedom, privacy and security, I realize that we are far from even being a necessity for most users.
They have barely heard anything about #bitcoin (and nothing good) even worse about #nostr
But well, it is understood that when there is no need for something, it is not a priority.

I don’t even try to talk to normies about bitcoin unless they inquire. massmedia and shitcoins did a good job of painting it with dirt, so that people just ignore it alltogether.
very few wake up from this haze and ask questions, these ones we should help. it is really a lot like matrix. most are so deep in it they will fight to protect their slavery.
I understand you. Before, I tried to explain everything about all these technologies and their strengths. Then I understood that everyone chooses what they want, the majority chooses because of the need for something and that same majority has no need for anything other than playfulness.
I think many people are still to comfortable in life. Suffering, hunger, and necessity will force people to seek alternatives to the status quo.
A lot of reason, Maria. The priorities are now different and will probably take a long time to change for the majority. But whenever I can, I talk to other people about these issues.
