“The Science” is not always the answer. Anecdotal evidence can be appropriate. Medicine, diet, etc must all be individualized (which is why many studies don’t provide the answers we really need. Diet zealotry is rampant. Unfortunately the bitcoin community is not immune. There is a ton of anecdotal evidence that eating a certain way will work well for some but backfire for others (for a multitude of reasons including genetics, sleep, activity preferences, etc). Carnivore, keto, vegan zealotry are all the same. It’s understandable how someone could be enthusiastic about something that works for them but they should recognize that it may not work for the whole of the world. In fact, many overzealous diets may simply be elimination diets conferring benefit rather than the macronutrient content. Yes! Bad injury in 2020. Minimal chronic pain now but it’s taken time. There are several resources out there that can resolve these issues without medication, surgery, or injections. It takes work, commitment, and learning but we are living at the best time bc there is a lot of good open source material. I’m happy to help (no cost) if needed.
