I'm really curious what the dynamics of society would be if money actually gained value with time. Would investments still be made? Would planned obsolescence be obsolete? Would stocks be as valuable? Would people be happier?

Censorship resistant platform are for everyone, including enemies of censorship resistant platforms.
I think we as a society need this. Just as bitcoin went through the block size wars and became more resilient as a result, so do social media platforms need to go through this censorship phase in order to become more censorship resistant. It'll probably suck, but freedom will win. Its inevitable.
