When these things are clearly explained to people they don't agree with them. Most people didn't actively choose to be digital slaves, they made the decisions they thought were best with the information they had.
Unfortunately there's a general lack of knowledge and education around digital services. Ignorance? Sure. But people don't want to be slaves, they want to be free.
Freedom tools are required, and also an emphasis on education is paramount. With clear understanding people will make the right choices.

Talk to me is a great horror movie.
The result of that would be a higher fee estimate, people will then pay higher fees, the rate increases, which results in even higher estimates. It might create an unwanted feedback loop.
I don't think it will be soon. I think it will get very ugly before it "we" win.
Transactions fees are now more than 100 sat / vB.

You need a lightning wallet and a lihhtning adress. This might help.
Bitcoin really wants to pop.
In a hyperbitcoinized world where most people hold their own keys, how will you protect yourself and your family from being kidnapped and tortured by criminals who want your bitcoin?
One thing I'm hopeful for is the obsolescence of planned obsolescence. People will be reluctant to spend their valuable bitcoin on low quality products, forcing companies to make long lasting products to stay competitive. Consumerism will go down, people will own better stuff and have more savings.
I believe in bitcoin more than ever and I'm sure it will become an integral part of our society and bring many benefits. But adoption will take much longer than I initially thought a few years ago. Things are moving slow. Network effects, regulation, state attacks, infrastructure, all these take time. We haven't even scratched the surface of "then they fight you" phase. I'm looking at a few decades.
Nostr is great. Ostriches are wack though, sorry not sorry.
