Surprised he's still around.
Most likely they won't outright ban self custody, but they will make it extremy hard for to use bitcoin in a sovereign way.
What I am expecting though is miner compliance, aka transaction censorship.
I could be wrong though, who knows what they're planning.
Let's not forget the quite extensive shitcoin support.
Ledger might just be the worst wallet out there.
Halfway through the third book of "Three Body Problem" and I'm already getting anxiety from the prospect of finishing the book. Insane saga, it gets even better after the second half of the second book (thanks nostr:npub1emdtsxly9m68m00x206t574jttp65vk0c2m89ms038q047yz7ylqcac9awfor the tip).
What epic science riction do you recommend for me next? The heavier the science, the better!
I love it when you find a book so good you can't put it down but you also don't want to finish it. I cherish those moments.

Its for your own protection, Jack!
Of course the US government will want to censor bitcoin transactions. Will they succeed? Then bitcoin was doomed to fail from the beginning. I don't think they will.
And never will be. That will not stop people from trying.
Tether Freezes All OFAC-Sanctioned Wallets in 'Proactive' Security Measure
"ITether framed the move as a voluntary step to "proactively prevent any potential misuse of Tether tokens and enhance security measures," and clarified that existing wallets on the OFAC list would be frozen along with any new wallets added in the future."

I expect some people to try very hard to impose this on US miners.
They work how they're intended to work, not how they should work.
