1. Elon has done a great job since he took office, firing the top management team immediately, laying off for cost saving.
2. Jack Dorsey made huge mistakes in the top management arrangement, especially the legal team, who were supposedly to better deal with governmental and regulatory issues.
3. Jack Dorsey does need to learn from his mistakes.

my take…a story i believe about twitter is that for a long time, it was very simple with (mostly) just character-limited text, which made it so super cool and more pure & required more creativity & wit.
twitter started as a great & awesome idea imho…extremely low “bandwidth” for instantaneous global communication, useable with the simplest of phones & bare minimum connectivity.
(nice in a way to remember the olden days of yore, lol 🥲)
…🌀… but over many years, lots of different powers & forces came through morphing twitter into a BEAST of its own.
now, though, twitter is no longer in existence. it met its end.

When I was studying social media, I ultimately boiled down Facebook designing it's platform around connection and Twitter being a platform that was designed around "the message". And it's for that reason that I saw tweets on instagram, news media or Reddit.
I think despite whatever mistakes you made, you had a vision for what Twitter was supposed to be, and the way I see it now is you're closer to perfecting "the message" in the financial services sector, which these days orbits the social media/communication channels more.
You mention protocols often but the message is also an atomic unit of the internet or software itself, so it's interesting to see this journey unfold.
