Good morning nostr friends, depending on the weather, i may try to make some more progress on my backyard project. We have rain in the forecast all week, and yesterday we got over an inch, which is great. I also have some housework to do, and some desk work too.

I've been looking at a few messenger apps to show a small group of friends, just to have a backup way to communicate with each other. I came across Briar (briarproject.org), and i find this one very interesting in that it enables communication via internet, wifi, or bluetooth (the user can toggle on/off which method to use.) I havent read all the documentation, but it seems like this would be a good way to use some kind of mesh network. I'm not too techy, but my brain started working on the possibilities. In any case, i like the ability to use different methods of sending messages that this app offers.
