Once the pedos start doing pedo things on nostr, relay operators are going to start caring about that sort of thing REAL quick.
PV crowd = pura vida crowd, the people who spam nothing but nonsense about bitcoin saving the world all day
there isnt liability if you are not aware of it

I haven't followed the nips lately, but I've heard whispers that this is something they're trying to address.
For instance, there's really no point in picking one relay over another. They're all basically the same with relatively minor differences. Certainly there's no way for communities to form around a relay, so what's the point of operating a relay other than some vague sense of contribution? That motivates the naive PV crowd, but in the real world the liability is just too high.
pv crowd?

fedi users have a bit of a problem grasping the use of relays, ie that they are generally not for communities
communities haven't been hashed out right yet on nostr, the distributed nature of #nostr needs a rethink for communities, the core of a community is its topic, and well we already have #hashtags which are topics and search, the other is moderation or better said as curation which we also have, but both areas of topics and curation need improvement #asknostr
likely because mobile has more users which means mobile should come first, many devs get that wrong, you can dev for all platforms easily these days anyway
in the ui? posts are translated
ditto is a cool name
my nostr experience has dramatically improved over the last couple months, all thanks to nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z and #amethyst

The community is going to have to get a whole lot more interesting, though. It's not just about number of developers.
I do hope Nostr wins and the people on Nostr branch out to things other than bitcoin. I like the protocol way better than fedi (provided fiatjaf et al keep it nice and relatively simple).
number of devs should indicate where its heading
#memeidea someone needs to make a threads logo as shit in a toilet
the end has come
getting angry when ur wrong is the wrong way to handle it
meh the fedi will become irrelevant soon as nostrs growth is epic
bitcoin gets pushed it uses much less energy than banking, its energy use is part of what secures it tho of course would be better if it used less
but they will become less relevant, much less
