Yes, that's true. Many people don't fully understand how money works. With the launch of a central bank digital currency (#CBDC), centralized authorities will have complete control and oversight of people's finances. Today, many are convinced by the convenience of using biometrics in the private sector for payments, not realizing that this paves the way for a CBDC dystopia - a world of absolute control, surveillance and subjugation.

I think its more or a scare monger in reality. Not that it doesn't allow control more than I think the dems (and their ilk) are done for. I think the writings on the wall for them. Also some have said that FedNow payments system allows similar controls but is never spoken about. So when Politicians say 'No CBDC' its hollow cos they have FedNow to do something v similar.
I tend to agree with you. They do have a lot of BTC though. Maybe they just leave it where it is and dont make it a treasury asset.
The ones with intuition and open mindedness can recognise patterns that arent well supported by mainstream thinking and can follow their intuition to places that others cant. There is a con to this aspect as well however in that sometimes these people also find patterns which are actually noise using the same method. Difficult game to play. I think this is why so many people believe flat earth. They have somehow had their intuition hijacked. "They" dont make it easy for us to be fair. The pattern I see is psyops within psyops or layers of deception. The powers that be can game conspiracy theorists because they know they don trust the mainstream but then add on a layer of a new BS conspiracy theory which some of those who are open/intuitive trust because we have a bias towards always being lied to. I think using a blend of logic and research and intuition is a more surefire solution. Takes a long time to develop though. Just some thoughts.

Seems to me its all about what value is at the bottom of the asset. With BTC you could say its perhaps energy or the security of the network and therefore the time chain. So many people I know have failed to recognise this unique feature. They do research and come back with basic FUD.
