The last verified transaction was in May. However when I got there, they told me they used to accept Bitcoin but no longer do. 😥

Started that book too.
Funny though, I already read Roger's book on the topic, and it was more convincing of the opposite of the narrative he was trying to push in it.
Too bad they banned it in the US.
Also unfortunate that phoenix wallet was recently blacklisted.
I think we're almost out of that phase though. At some point, governments will find it in their best interest to add Bitcoin to their balance sheets. I think they'll still go hard after some of the ETH stuff though.
When will I be able to pay with Bitcoin directly at square merchants?
Would it work for payments outside of nostr?
Lightning is even better than using low fee altcoins because there's the exchange fees both ways, "will I need another coin for my other store?", and more price volatility.
