I envy the ignorance of the ordinary.

For me personally, perfection is the model of the American dream, the nuclear family, a burger in the backyard with friends, going to the bar occasionally, taking a car ride, watching the kids play from the porch, having hobbies.

It's been decades since the difficulty of getting the information has dropped rapidly, and I've been accepting it ever since. As a consequence, I've been able to finally articulate how existentially necessary freedom has become for me.

And, especially since I was one of the few on this planet to experience a brief period of its proliferation, I guess I am so crushed by its accelerating destruction.

I have devoted several years to spreading freedom.

In vain.

I wish I hadn't seen it. Like most. To be happy. But I'm sinking into the darkness of collectivism. Perhaps it's better never to see the sun than to see it only once.
