It's a bug for me, too. Dumb clients over dumb relays has a very limited appeal.

I found this graphic on X, unfortunately without an exact source. Nevertheless, it confirms what we all know and can verify economically: the place of production is no longer the place of innovation. China has become a real magnet for patents and innovation, no matter how you get them. We must offer better framework conditions in our countries in the West, push back state activities and interventionism, reduce taxes and finally live meritocratic values so that innovators can successfully produce here.

I look at global, for all of my relays.

They're very PG-13, but, rarely, I look at the Conversations tab in Amethyst and it's littered with pictures of desperate girls, real or imagined, with their crotch exposed and staring, vapidly-grinning past the camera. I mute and report them all.

And then I wonder if the guys on here are happy about that, or depressed that people think that's all they want to look at.

I guess that's what 90% of the Internet is. That, and pictures of twenty-somethings performing questionable excersizes at the gym, while wearing pantyhose as pants.

Also you can write/read to as many relays as you want.

some clients (primal i think) even use their own cashing server which reads from many other relays. That's probably something you like.

I think it's stupid and relays can do everything the cashing server does.

outbox is the king

So to make Nostr bit usable, one would have to write relay that behaves as both relay and client.

That's not healthy.

“Roll” here is a synonym for “generate” or “produce”. Personally, I’m not a fan of the dice rolling method specifically.

I do recommend that people randomly generate their own seed phrases though.
