miui is one of the most malicious software in a phone. Root your phone and check the apps. It's bascially ba rootkit that can only be removed by completely new rom. But i will be surprised if their phone didn't have data collection and transmission at chip level so no one can find out.

does this use wayland or xorg? At the bottom it says xorg fixes... so can it run on wayland?
Javascript is the easiest way to get going, and there are lots of web clients out there (particularly in svelte). I've got lots of issues open at https://github.com/coracle-social/coracle/issues if you want to contribute to Coracle. Otherwise, you can find a list of projects here: https://github.com/aljazceru/awesome-nostr
One way you might consider contributing is by building data vending machines, in particular I'd be interested in one for search.
I have been trying to brush up my js a little bit. I'll see if i can do something there.
TIL During an interview with Stephen Hawking, the camera operator yanked a cable causing an alarm and Hawking to slump forward. Worried they had killed him, everyone rushed over to find Hawking giggling at his own joke. The alarm was from an office computer losing power.
i read the novel before so knew what to expect. But man the acting was so worth it.
There is a book by same author, looking for alaska. A series is on hulu by the same name. That series is the only book adaptation that is better then the book (AFAIK). I saw the series first and then dove into the book, book was not even close. Looking for alaska is one of my favorite series ever.
Depends on what you're into.

How they did it is smart and one of the best ways we can achieve this. But I don't know how to make it work with relays (maybe people can host and relay and do Content delivery and indexing). But what LBRY do is they allow people to download a desktop client and from that people can assign some of the hard disk for content. Like I gave like 12gb for content in that you can decide how much will be for videos you watch and how much will be for the others.
I assigned 4gb for me and 8gb for others. This way they can be decentralized. But the problems comes no one wants to host content like this if they don't earn anything. In LBRY they don't.
This also opens people who host stuff to potential lawsuits like anyone can post a video right. It can be harmful terrorist video. I mean we have an ISIS account on nostr so it will happen. Then comes DMCA. LBRY can say they are decentralized. But they can control which videos to delete. So I don't know. It is also important to have a way to deal with DMCA or else you are a goner.
So The best way can be to just post educational videos in the beginning and to delete videos relay can just remove the video from indexing.
