But what are the people celebrating #Assad’s fall in #Syria thinking? Do they understand who has actually won? The new “democratic” #Syrian leader, al-Jolani, is a #jihadist leader of al-Qaeda and the right-hand man of #ISIS chief al-Baghdadi. The victors are the very same people we fought for years—the ones who brought down the Twin Towers. The ones who have just reinstated sharia law across much of the country. The ones who strip women of their #freedom. The ones whose president personally beheads non-believers. But hey, at least a government backed by the #Russians has lost.

Don't you think that many of the funds that have now the #bitcoin ETF and have decided to donating to BitcoinCore are a danger to the network? Essentially, they are putting developers on their payroll, lots of dev will be incentivised from that money and an authority paying them could make requests for their own benefit. I’m a strong believer of btc and I hope consensus will help us. But what if the majority of the decisions maker are under pressure from who pay them?
