Your statements are mostly true. However, I think your observation has a bias.

Most people are not narcissistic, but normal.

It's just that we have created a system to promote narcissist through media/companies/politics. And we give them too much attention.

Adapted from to the book about the 4th turning, we are in the last cycle, where it is easier to blame others. This is actually the core reason for the current momentum towards centralism.

Eventually, it will lead to a crisis and people will notice that blaming others does not solve problems. Hence, they will remove these narcissisitc people from powers. Of course, I am afraid that we will have to go through pain, because, indeed, most people are too lazy (and not narcisisstic). 😉

clearly, running lightning nodes on a professional level (backups etc) is needed. also he has enough liquidity to play big ;-)
