Primal but you need to pick topics first. Nos has 2 auto-follow accounts: the Nos account and one other. The Nos account so people know there is an update they can install!

auto-following on account creation is a mistake. especially for nostr clients. takes a bunch of agency away and puts the person in a defensive position of “why am i following this account?”

trending, search, and topics are far better leads to a follow.

I just realized that I’ve created enough content on the internet that I can ask ChatGPT to generate quotes from me about any topic. They’re all made up of things I plausibly could have said, but didn’t.

It’s really good for preparing a talk… because if I say it then it becomes a real quote.

So... my first Nest trial was unsuccessful.

I couldn't see anyone but "Guests" in the audience.

I couldn't figure out how to invite anyone up on stage with me.

I assume my mic was working, but it's kind of clunky and hard to reach behind the nest URL at the bottom of the screen.

I may have to wait until someone with experience runs a Nest and hopefully I can join them on stage for a bit to play around with the features and figure out what's going on.

As of today, I miss the UI/UX of Spaces, but am confident that the features will improve on #nostr going forward.
