We are Plan ₿ Network, and we’re absolutely thrilled to finally step into the purple space! Plan ₿ Network was born when two of the most passionate Bitcoiners on Earth decided to join forces to do what they love most: educating people about #Bitcoin. Basically they can’t get enough of babbling on and on about how Bitcoin is the greatest money ever invented, sprinkled with plenty of conspiracy theories for good measure.
Naturally, the best way to ensure their message reached everyone was to create an open-source, centralized library of top-tier educational content and host a ton of classes along the way.
And who are these two passionate Bitcoiners I keep talking about? None other than the legendary and inimitable nostr:npub1r0gzy7ptcecpmjj3uv4kxychpqex3j52e8z9vyg3qy7jvcvyu2uq5tczhq and nostr:npub1au23c73cpaq2whtazjf6cdrmvam6nkd4lg928nwmgl78374kn29sq9t53j.
The legend says they sat down at a lovely café in Lugano, and together, they gave birth to this crazy institution we now call Plan ₿ Network. We’re not sure who was holding whose hand during the process, but one thing is for certain: with Rogzy’s creative genius and Giacomo’s irresistible Italian charm, the outcome was destined to be world-changing.
That’s us in a nutshell, a team of collaborators who are madly in love with Bitcoin and incredibly humbled to be part of this great orange-pilling mission.
So, what’s the coolest part about Plan ₿ Network?
It’s the simplicity: anyone can join. We welcome collaborators of all kinds. Educators, contributors, developers, translators, researchers, designers, organizers, maintainers, and, my personal favorite, dreamers. (Though I might be a bit biased because, well, I love being a dreamer.)

Officially, I go by the title Head of Chaos, but many of you know me as nostr:npub1y67n93njx27lzmg9ua37ce7csvq4awvl6ynfqffzfssvdn7mq9vqlhq62h 💜 from the nostr:npub19mduaf5569jx9xz555jcx3v06mvktvtpu0zgk47n4lcpjsz43zzqhj6vzk and as one of the organizers of the nostr:npub1nstrcu63lzpjkz94djajuz2evrgu2psd66cwgc0gz0c0qazezx0q9urg5l conferences. Today, I’m thrilled to be writing to the best purple audience about what’s been keeping my days busy: my first FOSS passion, Bitcoin communities or how we now like to call them “nodes”.
Meet “some” of the Team
The Plan ₿ Network team is vast, diverse, full of incredible people and spread almost around every corner of the world. For instance, there’s nostr:npub1t0g7qwh5hhypwvfa94hcv6f2eqmtme844r8y5gj8fem687eg9svs3ycd3n, our unstoppable Head of International Expansion, who spends his days traveling around the globe, setting up nodes to ensure Bitcoin education can continue long after we’re all gone. Then there’s nostr:npub1ezaezjyuhnjqkj3unzhc6tqzdu5u7zgd0k4au6yrjvcftjx6gz8s9c8utn, our Chief Operations Officer also known as “The Survivor of the Chaos”, the most patient person on our team, who helps bring order to the never ending amount of entropy Rogzy, Giacomo, and I tend to create.
These are just two examples of the amazing people who make up our ever-growing team. A team that is now beyond excited to be here, learning from all you nostriches. Together, we’re exploring ways to advance freedom and help others understand the magic that happens among all the relays, notes, and other stuff that keeps this space uncensored and alive.

Day One is on, and so is the heat! 🔥 The first wave of attendees arrived at the Awake Center early to register and get their amazing lanyards. What a vibe! It definitely has an early adopters feel all over this unconference.
Let me take this first unconference day report to give thanks! 🫶
First, we want to thank Govinda for letting us use his fantastic home at Awake as our own for these three days. He even handcrafted the beautiful wooden podium on our main stage. Please look at it and admire the art and thought put into it. (see attached pictures) 🎭
Keeping the Pura Vida mentality with every single one of her designs, we are thankful for #[1] Her artwork is all over Nostrica, and it appears on the gorgeous swag that pays homage to all the devs and nostr supporters. (Pic below) 🎨
The sweetest person I've met since I got here, Nikki #[2] , put together a gorgeous play area for the kids at Nostrica. Let's thank her and her baby for living under the Nostr principles and sharing with the community. 🙏👶
We could thank many people, but these are the ones for today. We will continue thanking everyone. I'll probably miss some, but this couldn't happen without all of you plebs that make Nostr the coolest place on the internet, and now in Costa Rica. 🇨🇷
Back to what most of you are waiting to hear about, what's happening at the stages. I've spent most of my day at the Workshop, where privacy and development have been the main topics. Nostr OGs have been on fire.🔥🔥🔥 Actually, I guess every speaker and attendee here is an OG. Something really hot is happening here, and is not just the temperature!
On the main stage, #[3] and #[4] have taken the lead. They need no introduction. Having them moderate and improve how they do is art on its own. Am I thanking people again? Can't help myself...
Day one also featured #[5] #[6] #[7] #[8] and an impressive Nostr Client panel after the lunch break that included #[9] from #[10] , Chris David (building a Telegram like chat client https://thearcapp.com/ ), #[11] , #[12] from Nuestr, #[13] from Akawin, and a great presentation from #[14] of #[15]
