People are betting on the printer coming back on line, not actually coming to a realization about the true risk of trusting a counterparty. More of the same Wall St crap born out of a refusal to learn for now.
Unpopular take: Bitcoin is pumping, but so are the shitcoins. No investors or hedge funds have figured out counterparty risk. They are all betting on bailouts and trading accordingly. Zero of this pump is moving into cold storage.
Until the shitcoins go to zero too, no one has actually learned anything, and fundamentally still does not understand counterparty risk and verified ownership.

People spent the weekend not buying Bitcoin with their worthless fiat and counting on their FDIC insurance to bail them out. Glad I am not one of those people.
Seeing folks on the bad bird app talk about getting their money out of the banks and mentioning everything except Bitcoin is excruciating. Some people are gonna be in a ditch with no clothes on and still not get it. Sad.
