There are good anchovies, and there are terrible anchovies
Thanks! Doesn’t seem to show any posts when I look someone up. For instance, I was trying to follow Michael Kennedy:
mkennedy_at_fosstodon.org@mostr.pub
It was a tiny Israeli felafel joint in Philly, hadn’t been there in years… but I have had many felafels since which don’t compare.
They also had killer fried eggplant and complimentary pickled veg and sauces at the ‘salad bar’.
Very true! But I understand Vancouver gets extremely low avg annual snowfall, so maybe not that different in practice (for the local municipality / whoever is responsible for clearing snow)
Looks like a very good boi, if I had to guess. Feel better
Context:
Most of the Python open source ecosystem (language core devs, package maintainers, contributors, power users, etc.) have all left “X” for the Fosstodon instance of Mastodon.
I don’t know if this is common in other open source communities… but many of these Python ppl claim to love “free software” ideals, but ironically they lean very socialist in their general ideology.
I gather this ~faction of open source software enthusiasts has been around for decades. They tend to hate Bitcoin, so I think they are unlikely to start using Nostr anytime soon.
In any case, I want to follow what some of these ppl have to say. But I don’t want to use “X”, and what’s more, I especially don’t want to use Mastodon 😂
LOL this also happens every time it snows 1 inch in the American South
Is there an existing tool or service to view Mastodon posts on Nostr?
I want to read posts of some select ppl on Mastodon who probably don’t know Nostr exists.
Willing to pay sats per account, or per post, etc.
They also have a tiny population
New Zealand was a real curveball here
Gotcha. I didn’t catch the part where it was nonstandard, or below going feerate
