There are several ways to do this:
1. Peer-to-peer exchanges like Robosats, Bisq, and others
2. Local meetups - exchanging contact info with other bitcoiners IRL
3. Bitcoin communities - like the best community in Bitcoin (Living in the Future 😏)
For real though, our LITF community is second to none.
I've bought and sold bitcoin plenty of times with other bitcoiners in the group. This week I bought some from a fella in Ireland who needed cash for a family trip.
The best way to keep bitcoin ownership decentralized?
If you have to sell bitcoin,
Sell it to other bitcoiners
Do not sell it back to the exchanges
We will never get those sats back
This week Canadians head to the polls.
None of them can fix this mess that we call the fiat system.
Voting is the adult version of writing a letter to Santa Clause.
Opt out with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the 5th most valuable asset on earth and the clowns who haven't studied it STILL think it's a Ponzi scheme
WE ARE RIGHT ABOUT BITCOIN.
According to nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhx6mmnw3ezuur4vgkhjsen the biggest threat to Bitcoin is becoming irrelevant and not being used as a medium of exchange.
The top of the Bitcoin White Paper reads "PEER-TO-PEER ELECTRONIC CASH" and some people are worried that it will not fulfill it's original vision.
Bitcoin on layer one could never be used as a medium of exchange. It's simply too slow, too expensive, and block space is scarce.
However, with new tools on layer two (lightning, liquid, ecash), it is definitely capable of becoming a medium of exchange as well.
We took a deep dive into this topic to break down whether or not this is relevant and what we can do to change the direction.
It really does
Which has nothing to do with Bitcoin
But just humans being shitty
