As valid as this is right now, there are centralized solutions coming to fix most of these logistical problems, and they may even provide better UX than bitcoin.

If a financial service offers cash back it means they've skimmed extra from you (in fees or data) and decide so graciously to give some back for some psychological benefit. That's fiat mindset IMO.
