Well for me it's not about climate change. I see that it's nice to not depend on resources your country doesn't have (petroleum), so economically speaking eletrc cars are a good strategy.
About those cars being expensive I think rich people (who want to have a car) can pay so that's fine. But for public transportation (trains powered by energy) we must have a better price / subsidy
The already dieing EU is making even more stupid decisions:
EU parliament votes to ban new sales of petrol and diesel cars by 2035.
I often get the question from my friends why I want to leave this continent. Okay, this is one answer for that...
