Its not only nostr.band that supports search. Its noswhere.com, nos.today and saltivka.org at least
Yeah, you definitely know better than me who lived through all those events, thanks for educating
Twitter retards on nostr, more each day, its probably a good thing đ
ABOUT MONEY AND WAR AND HOW #bitcoin can make things better
https://primal.net/e/note1fss6u92kenqmvssfhjwnvmu3xh3kr4l6d5gv28cz0pgp02r3qf4qwhj7fl
Tbh, I donât know why I even finished reading this and even conclusions from linked article after âUS drawn rusia into the Ukraine conflictâ lies with 3 red flags in a single sentence, butâŠ
1) unfortunately bitcoin doesnât fix wars
2) even if we assume bitcoin long term fixes everything (hundreds of years from
Now? Thousands? Millions?) then we still have to somehow live today and bitcoin even in theory canât fix wars according to this flawed âtheoryâ unless EVERYONE switches to bitcoin and gets addicted to its infinite advantages
3) US is not the biggest villain on Earth even if it makes things a lot easier to believe in for many not involved people. But if you believe that all problems come from US you can justify that your country is ruled by hamas terrorists or rusian imperialists, you can just say âfuck it, its not my nation and my govt, its not my decisions (or their lack of) made it possible â no, its all because US invented fiat and abuses it, so Iâm just another victim, I canât do anything and just waiting for bitcoin/jesus/allah/messiah to fix this
I stopped at 2 months before because its also 2 month into now. I could also use 1 day before if you prefer. Why? Because 1 day before was the last day of some agreements were working, and they were broken solely by one side.
If you want to go in past more than the last checkpoint of an agreement, then you can pick arbitrary date, what for example rusia is doing with Ukraine right now â they chose a date where USSR existed and want it back. They didnât chose times of Rus with a center in Kyiv, because it is inconvenient for their war. Same goes for any war â either you play by international laws established with UN after WW2 (which are very far from perfect unfortunately) or you can do whatever you want, you are a terrorist short-term and long term you either a past evil (like Nazi Germany) or one who rewrites the history (what rusia aims for for instance, and HAMAS supports
It with)
Anyway, Iâm waiting your âsuggestionsâ for HAMAS, do you suggest to let them leave with what they did and encourage to continue? Are you sure they stop if no Israel exist close to them?
This is what you canât understand because you are blessed to only hear such news on internet and not even on examples of people you know directly probably. If your child gets murdered by an aggressor you donât care at all how many aggressor supporters have to be killed to stop the aggressor, to have some sort of âjusticeâ or ârevengeâ (because justice does not exist, if someone already committed violence and killed a person there is nothing in this world that can back this person to life) and its just an aggressors manipulation in this case to force everyone believe that AFTER aggressor committed a crime, âopponentâ has to stick to some moral ground.
Your suggestion of course is just a stupid joke. But lets pretend it has some ground. Ok. Its almost 2 months after Israel started retaliation. And killed a lot of people, thats obviously bad. But 2 months before 7 October, how many people did Israel killed? It seems to me this is closer to zero. So why do you omit your brilliant âsuggestionsâ to HAMAS ? What and more importantly who is gonna do something about them?
So you think sanity is to kill just roughly the same number of people in response right? And its also not insanity to start wars in the first place, right?
You see, philosophical problem that commenters on internet canât see is that there is no such thing in laws or moral to answer âis it bad to do bad things in response to bad things?â For now, aggressors all over the world manipulate this drawback to force victims to âbehave goodâ in face of others doing whatever they want
Also, internet commenters fail to see is numbers of deaths and ways of deaths and anything else is completely irrelevant to people who were already killed. Or for people whos relatives were killed
And jfyi calling to calm things down and ânegotiateâ, âfreeze conflictsâ etc - always only help aggressors to keep doing aggressors things if you learn history
Websites that listed in your profile say otherwise â that you are directly related to software industry and you make money off of it. You are skilled in the area of expertise which less than 1-3% of people are working in. And it happened that this industry today attracts a lot of investments thus making everybody related much more financially stable.
Thats how reality looks like. 100% of population could never be a part of this industry since there would be no one who produces food and water for us, who builds houses and cleans toilets. We are privileged because of how things work right now and it may very well end up suddenly every day.
So the fact that you are able to leave cities and live closer to nature is a consequence of your exceptional skills in area that is profitable. It has nothing to do with bitcoin.
If a regular school teacher today starts using bitcoin, nothing at all changes in their life, completely nothing.
And you think those rat races happen because people chose fiat instead of bitcoin and not because like 99% of people âin bitcoinâ are related to software development industry that experiences extreme growth over last 4 decades, right?
Because it goes against the core idea of nostr - decentralization. In general, currently community consensus is that you have to learn without that feature
And what is the reason for that, how do you think?
I thought nostr already won because its a protocol
>>> without endorsement or approval of The Tor Project.
Communism, socialism, authoritarian or âhoho, great guys fighting for greater good <3â?
Sounds amazing but where you buy your elixir of youth to have such a long life?đ
Well its âAAAAAAAAâŠâ in Morse. Maybe author died in wow hardcore?
I think for the list of relays you manully produce, it should be like this per relay:
- respond always
- ignore always
- prompt
- auto (let client decide, for instance only auth when kind4 requested etc how some clients have it now)
Also probably the same types of settings shouls be applies for âother relays that happen to be requestedâ in case of outbox or similar
It would also be great to let user know when and why AUTH is requested by relay. And regarding WHY maybe it makes sense to consider adding it to NIP so that relays could notify why they need auth - is it just a regular hey here is a challenge if you want to AUTH or something critical may be missing without. Maybe relays could add a link to policy (nip-11 seem not to cover this granularly enough)
Also what is important for client auth imo - is to save challenge at let user auth at any given point in time later, to not force user take immediate action and to not break UX because relay sends it before client can react
nostr:npub13f5edp5przy3sm0nnrrj205vgstuuul7s98datn7ekqahh54x6kqufgvmt what are the medium-term plans for https://saltivka.org/ ? Is the goal to make it easy to run by normal people and have "private relay" features? What exactly do you plan to implement that requires AUTH?
Currently Iâm planning to make it possible for users to register in old-school way on the platform and create their subrelays in order to allow non-tech, lees-tech and tech users manage topical/community/private relays.
This could partially be viewed as algorithms â you create wss://fiatjaf.saltivka.org and you can either manually store the best memes you find to this relay, or you can hire a team who does this or you use AI/ML for that
Once you have content you think valuable on this relay you start promoting it and have oldshool way of monetizing ads but without platform as middleman
Those subrelays must have granular configurable access policies. I wouldnât say AUTH is a must for this feature right now but long-term of course its essential
Wow, I looked there 3 times and I first seen it in source code but only was able to see it in UI after your post đ thanks!
However, this setting seem to have no effect and it does not persist through reloads in any browser: safari, ff, chrome on mac
