Trying out the @primal app on #android.

Is nsec the only way to login? Also, how do I find the communities here? Also also, it looks like it's bugging the fuck out of my keyboard for some reason... It looks good though, ngl. Someone #zap me a sat so I can try out the wallet too

GM, nosters and nostrisses,

Stay classy

I think it would be interesting if the like (and emoji reaction) button costed at least 1 sat. Without the algorithm to direct contents and trends, the mere likes have almost any value aside from the little dopamine shot. What do you guys think of it? #asknostr #zaps

I believe in a more organic and natural social hierarchy (I think hierarchy is unavoidable given human nature). The social structure prior to the 17th century "Peace of Westphalia" was striving toward this, but this treatise spawned the modern absolute, self soverign and self legitimazing state as we know it today. But that means that a more natural social order is possible, and our modern technologies can assist us in persuing that goal. Maybe I'll elaborate these ideas further and write about it somewhere around here

There are invisible filters that scramble AI analysis for images. Maybe there is a way to do it for text too

Some thoughts on Ponerology and Bitcoin (and Nostr)

In his book "Ponerology", Andrzej Lobaczewski notes that when a psychopath is in power, the society under his control starts to crumble moraly and cognitively. There are various phenomena involved. We can see that some are easely observable. Most obviously, the terrorizing presence of the state controled by the psycopath(s) spreads stress and fear thoughout society. This causes two major social problems: hysteria on those who conform to it and distrust among those who oppose it.

I'll describe these abstractly so you can observe for yourself and look for these patterns in recent events, like the pandemic circus.

When the state, under the control of psycopaths, imposes unreasonable and abusive rules, it does not have the necessary manpower under its paycheck to enforce it ubiquitously, so it has to use its own victims in the process. By convincing part of the population of its narratives, the omnipresence of the state makes itself more apparent. But the people under this spell are not rationaly choosing it, but rather start to show symptoms of hysteria (in a broad definition, hysteria is a condition where the person reacts to what he believes and feels instead of what is realy in front of him). These hysterics will be alarmist and loud, and may even turn violent. They will enforce the rules and denounce dissidents. Because of them, those who oppose the regime will feel cornered and overwhelmed. Not knowing who to trust when they go out on the streets, they start to become paranoid and anti social. This distrust makes them more atomized and hence more easely dealt with.

Enter Bitcoin (and Nostr). These tools represent the begining of a tilt in the scale of control and power. Because of the privacy and security they provide to the users, the people can once more organize themselves and put their ideas out there, albiet they still have to do it confined in cyberspace. Bitcoin allows people to safeguard their money from the claws of the state, and Nostr allows them to spread their ideas securely. This combination can make the dissidents more at ease in their day to day life under the regime. The consequences of all this are still unfolding.

Stack sats, spread truth, and praise God
