Former Watergate Prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks on my show destroys the Trump talking point that he can't be prosecuted for his attempted coup because it's protected by the First Amendment. "It is completely ridiculous. Every crime almost involves speech. If you walk into a bank and say 'I have a gun in my pocket, hand me your money,' Are you being prosecuted for your speech? No, you are being prosecuted for trying to rob a bank."
It's now TWO YEARS and 165 days since Donald Trump's Jan 6 terrorist attack. In any other first world country he'd already be charged. Instead Trump is running for President where he's spewing more lies to delegitimize our democracy. Long past time to Indict trump for Jan 6!
