We have it tracked on Github now: https://github.com/damus-io/damus/issues/1634
Thanks @elsat for opening a ticket for this!
I think we should make the zap button one-tap like the note zap button nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8
Good point! I’ll set a reminder to implement that as soon as I can
Some of my replies are showing up as new posts in Damus. Anyone else have this problem? nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8 #AskNostr
It hasn’t happened to me yet on normal posts. However I believe we have one known issue similar to this, but that one only applies to replies of long form posts
How did you arrive to this conclusion? I cannot think of a reason why this would be true
You guys are fast lol

We are trying quick actions on Damus when you tap on a user avatar in the feed. Which option would you choose?
The idea is to show actions such as buy me a coffee or zap(since we can’t zap a note) and even send message without going to their profile.
Any thoughts? Feedback? Comments? Issues with this proposed design?

I like both, but prefer 1
1 looks really nice

ledger-cli + Python + Git are amazing tools for keeping track of personal finances (if you are familiar with the terminal and python scripting). So glad I found this 🙌

I haven’t been experiencing much lag lately. It feels pretty smooth on my end 🤔
To help us troubleshoot this:
1. Do you see it after specific actions (e.g. when starting the app), or just continuously?
2. Which device are you using, and which iOS version?
3. If you can, perhaps a screencast of the issue might help us identify what is slowing down your experience?

Are you also experiencing that?
Not yet, the speed feels normal to me.
Is the rest of the app slow for you? Or just the text entry?
Thanks! I will start work on this one next!
Thanks Elsat!
Would it make sense to swap a lower priority sprint item with this higher priority item?
I think a simple and shiny UX does have value, but I agree with you that it shouldn’t stop there
In my view, an ideal UX would be one that starts out super simple and frictionless, and then progressively teach and expose the user to more and more important details, at a pace comfortable for them.
