damn that would be dope
ahh gotcha, and then users can use any of the "authorizers" they want?
tell me more...
interesting idea, but not sold on limiting who can pay to like (if I am understanding correctly..)
yeah like/dislike could use rebranding. deboosting seems a little too verbose. maybe boost/sink? i'll have to think on in some more... afterall this is all just theoretical at this point haha
would only work if users agree that pay per like/dislike client offers more alpha than simple click like/dislike client. or if they agree that they want their like to support the content creator directly. maybe wont be majority of users, but imo there should be a viable market
lol oh no... i've committed a lot of those sins
1. bc it came with one🙃
2. bc i don't know how to properly query the relays without spamming them (or being able to handle the spam with my own relay)
3. there is value in having the users content available with out internet connection (but not sure if it is worth cost slow db)
hahah. copy paste strikes again?
random idea i had and want your thoughts. we could also implement pay per dislike, except in this case the payment would go to client devs or charitable cause of your choice (over lightening) rather than the author.
keep me updated!!
this is good. price wont pump until there is total despair.... right?
more generally, I kinda think simple click likes are a cheap form of engagement that get way too much prioritization. however, if you start implementing some sort of pay per like system over lightening i'm definitely onboard for that.
....so I actually might hold off on the likes (or any new kinds) for astral until I figure out whether to keep the browser db or just go full relay query. I need to get that infrastructure sorted before I start pulling in more data....
