do not fear you are still #1 by a wide marginย ๐
heheh... only reason I knew what he was talking about is someone else had reported that this emoji was missing
in the astral emoji list that emoji was missing
agree with this sentiment. but I *believe* he was just asking for that emoji symbol that was missing before
ok you convinced me. I will allow multiple invoices. thanks giszmo!
its rendered as notes are received from the relays and emitted from db, if it isn't already in the db. db emits are batched as much as they can be. I can't control how the events come in from the relays. I doubt this few events would cause UI blocking..?
no I was wrong about this. I had tried to fix it but neglected to remove some legacy code that continues to wipe this out. will fix today. thanks guys!
hey #[0] can you expand more on the issue you experienced? astral doesn't support lnurl yet so it won't be displayed anywhere. astral will only set metadata when you explicitly save your profile info in settings, and even then should not wipe any existing fields.
so fast! thank you!

no hamstr takes a lot longer to load global feed than astral bc it doesn't have astral's most recent updates. I removed persistent storage which has improved performance a lot.
oof will fix thanks for reporting
astral only allows one invoice rendered per post in order to discourage spam invoices. I will stop parsing out the extra invoices so you can see them still.
yep thats what I do. I'll also sub the main event's replies (as sometimes reply tags are messed up and the root event is wrong)
no this does not typically happen. I think they may have used the @npub convention from damus. in astral you can paste npub (or note) id without the @ or & and will parse it.
like this oneย #[3] but actually seems to load reasonably fast for me.
no I think its bc of global feed. I fetch last 5000 posts, and I think most of the time the whole thread is contained in those 5000 posts so its readily available in the db. if you click on a thread that is older you will see more of a wait time.
๐๐๐ can relate
๐๐ glad youre liking it!
