Middle. IMO using the same font in catchy logos is key.

Neighborhoods in the city of San Diegohave a history of installing grandiose street signs, in order to give the neighborhood a physical symbol its own identity.
In the image below, one such sign is being constructed in San Diego‘s old town district. When completed the sign will span across the entire street.
😂
Whhhoooa. Mind blown. I’ve never ever had occasion to ponder this. So far I’m up to Elmo on the death metal vocal prep list.

I know the focus of my feed is supposed to be about my experiences and ideas regarding urbanization and transit in San Diego, but I’m traveling. So for now, for today, a shot of Hanoi’s incredibly old fortress.

Where San Diego trolleys go to die: a weedy patch of earth close to Old Town.
Some shots of San Diego’s original trolleys. #sandiego #sdmts #mts #trolley

In 2021 I adopted a full-time car lite life style, ie: use public transit as much as practical, walk more, and shop locally when possible.
Using the car a lot less while living in San Diego has its challenges. The bus system in central San Diego is comprehensive but slow. The trolley is the same - slow, but in addition can often feel sketchy.
Pictured is one of San Diego’s first generation (1980s) trolley cars. I really loved their design, which, from the front, harken back to the days of the ok’ PCC cars. #sandiego #sdmts #mts #trolley #transit
