2025 podcast stats were a bit off this year. Switching to some ad-free subscription feeds partway through the year threw off my top 5 and total show counts, and others adding more video visuals meant more podcast time on YouTube than usual. As expected, the Qualcomm enshittification of @Arduino has begun. Expressif's ESP32 stuff has already been a better platform for some time... The last episode of this season of Land of the Giants is out. It's a wonderful recap of the life and death of Twitter. If you've ever been a fan of Twitter, I highly recommend it. For me, it was a nice coda to close out this era of social.

The conspiracy theorist in me is worried that Microsoft is leveraging their big Bing money to keep the OpenAI GPT-4 web browsing plugin disabled. That was my favorite part of ChatGPT so far.
Maybe now all of the Blueskys and Nostrs and Mastodons and T2s and CounterSocials and Post.Newss can all fight over the name "Twitter". I hear it's not currently being used for anything anymore.
