Last few days with the Aeropress and then I will switch to the Final Press for a couple weeks (maybe less).

Aeropress has outperformed my wildest expectations for it. I haven't even started messing with inverted brewing with it.

I have just been using it as instructed, and tweaking grind size, temp, and seep time to optimize to my tastes. I have been taking some notes along the way.

Next I will do the same with the Final Press.

I have used a French Press almost exclusively for years, along with a pour over now and then in there.

It was time to test out some new stuff and I am enjoying the results so far.

Yesterday, I brewed a cup with my AeroPress that set a new benchmark for my brewing experiments.(haven't tried inverted brewing yet) The moment I tasted it, I knew I’d found the standard I’ll use to compare all future variations, beans, and roasts. I’ve been keeping detailed notes on my process, and today, I managed to replicate that incredible cup.

When everything aligns perfectly, the flavors and nuances hit you like a ton of bricks.

The beans from Food Forest Farms are always exceptional, even in a drip brew. But with this brew, the magic of the roaster's work really shines.

Here’s the recipe that’s raising the bar:

19g medium-light Peruvian from Food Forest Farms

Grind: fine/medium-fine (15/60 on my grinder scale)

Water: 12oz at 195°F

Method: Stir for 10 seconds, let sit for 30 seconds total, then press
