Looks like I ended the year fairly eclectically. 
Happy New Year’s internet! I got home in the evening and put the phone down and watched Stranger Things with my daughter’s and then the fam made cookies and watched the ball drop on TV. Didn’t look at the phone till this morning.
I’ve been thinking about how to go about monetizing apps and making things available in general. I think if the time ever comes, I will charge a small fee for apps in the Play Store but always have them available to sideload for free from Github.
As I watched the cable guys run my neighbors new line my Internet went out. They then proceeded to say they did nothing, I called and there is no outage, but they can have someone here by Wednesday to check it out. Am still looking at two of their employees in my yard… @$&! 🤦♂️

I am a 1password user and I can save and use keys from it.
Nostrfeedz operates like a feed reader. You can add any npub and get there long form posts just like you would in say Feedly, but at that point I'm not using RSS... But I did add the ability to add rss Feedz to it, so you don't have to have two apps, one to follow Nostr folk and one for traditional blogs... I also have the guide which will convert Nostr feeds to RSS for non Nostr folks to follow Nostr creators in their old school RSS readers.. it's a melding of two great decentralized protocols.
Among my many projects, ‘Abbey’ is the one closest to my heart. Envisioned as a sanctuary for writers, I’m building it to be an essay-focused tool first. It’s a labor of love that I work on gradually, with the ultimate goal of creating the perfect writing environment.
I’m doubling down on Nostr development. Aside from Micro.blog, I think the protocol has a massive future.

I’m moving the MB-Manager to Github, so this next release will have different links for download. I was playing with Forgejo, but at this time, I think hosting my own git isn’t worth the effort.
Its going to be a sad day when side loading on Android ends. Developing without having to worry about the Play Store is so nice.
