the so-called bitcoin art is something interesting for the pioneers, early adopters, and maybe a part of the early users. i hope my kids—and if not them, then next generations—will think (if they ever end up thinking about it at all):
"why should i decorate my home with art celebrating money? yeah, it's a powerful tool, but it's just a tool for transferring value over timespace. no one looks at language, the wheel, the printing press, electricity, or the internet with artistic awe"
once again, i don't mean it as any kind of offense, i'm just interested in your pov 🙏 because it seem to me that all the foundational inventions became invisible to awe...
