"Nigeria to release drought-tolerant maize variety. The maize which was developed at Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is water efficient, drought tolerant and fights insects and pests such as Fall Armyworm."
The article doesn't get into the dynamics of GMO adoption in Nigeria.

I’ve never met her— but her mom describes her as having an adventurous spirit & she likes to travel. She was in Rome during 2022— she is receiving some great experiences as a student.

I’ve walked on a beach when the sky looks like this— feels wonderful ✨✨
Dreams are deeply fascinating. Good luck exploring! 🌌
Hope you enjoy the story. 📖✨
I used this technique called “dream tending” — if I remember correctly— part of it asks the dreamer to write the dream in present tense. It was a creative writing exercise in a way— & surreal reflection 🫣

“The most startling thing about disasters, according to award-winning author Rebecca Solnit, is not merely that so many people rise to the occasion, but that they do so with joy. That joy reveals an ordinarily unmet yearning for community, purposefulness, and meaningful work that disaster often provides. A Paradise Built in Hell is an investigation of the moments of altruism, resourcefulness, and generosity that arise amid disaster's grief and disruption and considers their implications for everyday life. It points to a new vision of what society could become-one that is less authoritarian and fearful, more collaborative and local.” https://www.amazon.com/Paradise-Built-Hell-Extraordinary-Communities/dp/0143118072/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=R1KDYVW61SBD&keywords=a+paradise+built+in+hell+rebecca+solnit&qid=1693007539&sprefix=paradise+built+%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-1

Interesting. My friend’s daughter attends a Catholic University— she just traveled to Portugal with students & a Dominican Priest — and a few other places that included a visit from the Pope— not sure what she is majoring in, but I will share this info.
