Aquí

Mis pasos en esta calle

Resuenan

En otra calle

Donde

Oigo mis pasos

Pasar en esta calle

Donde

Sólo es real la niebla

I’ve walked on a beach when the sky looks like this— feels wonderful ✨✨

I used this technique called “dream tending” — if I remember correctly— part of it asks the dreamer to write the dream in present tense. It was a creative writing exercise in a way— & surreal reflection 🫣

When I was your age, I kept a dream journal.

“The most startling thing about disasters, according to award-winning author Rebecca Solnit, is not merely that so many people rise to the occasion, but that they do so with joy. That joy reveals an ordinarily unmet yearning for community, purposefulness, and meaningful work that disaster often provides. A Paradise Built in Hell is an investigation of the moments of altruism, resourcefulness, and generosity that arise amid disaster's grief and disruption and considers their implications for everyday life. It points to a new vision of what society could become-one that is less authoritarian and fearful, more collaborative and local.” https://www.amazon.com/Paradise-Built-Hell-Extraordinary-Communities/dp/0143118072/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=R1KDYVW61SBD&keywords=a+paradise+built+in+hell+rebecca+solnit&qid=1693007539&sprefix=paradise+built+%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-1

😇 Sometimes you can find samples online to see if it’s a topic of interest.

Interesting. My friend’s daughter attends a Catholic University— she just traveled to Portugal with students & a Dominican Priest — and a few other places that included a visit from the Pope— not sure what she is majoring in, but I will share this info.
