A message I often remind my students when they come back from recess.

A bunch of places— but this pic is me at the Carnegie Museum (I’m always at the museum) — it sits between parts of the University of Pittsburgh & Carnegie Mellon University. It was interesting because of those uncanny, synchronous moments that sometimes happen in a weekend. The other pic is the Cathedral of Learning.

Today was interesting — #Pittsburgh #Sunday 🍂📖

#poems #MurielRukeyser

The advantage of picking up a used copy of collected #poems are the intros. by scholars. Learned this about Muriel Rukeyser today 🍂📖

“We need look no further than the FBI file of more than 100 pages focused on Rukeyser, the agency's labeling of her as a 'concealed Communist’ (Dayton 12), or the House Un-American Activities Committee's censure of Sarah Lawrence College in November 1958 for employing her (Folsom 1) to appreciate the international reputation she earned as a powerful voice against the violence of war, poverty, racism…”

Can’t get enough of autumn… 💜🍂

Actually you can filter but not by “most read”…I could spend a whole day on this site— might be better than a browser search bar 😉

Explored the website this morning— so many gems including sci-fi stories. I did not find an answer to your question— they offer a contact email— maybe something to discover this route. The menu is very helpful— it’s a fantastic website— very organized. Not sure about a filtered search bar though.

Breaking routine & exploring new places offers you a way to experience life differently— there is no right or wrong— when you come home the memory will deepen your typical landscape— if the moment held significance. Or

sometimes its simply about joy!

One #reading spot— started a #book Faces in the Crowd by Valeria Luiselli #November

Today was beautiful. A “Red Dress” art exhibit, almond croissants, perfect outdoor reading spots, leaves & warmth— enjoyed the weather. Here is one pic. #Pittsburgh #Autumn

I used to do Harry Potter bookathons— attended the Midnight Release Event for the last book— years ago.

Trying out the movie soon… loved the book & this author interview. #AllTheLightWeCannotSee
