Just like old people can't trust a fart. Bitcoiners can't trust a pump. Even if it hits 500k I have been around long enough to still expect a retracement to <100k, so you never feel the win! Assuming you don't try be clever and guess the tops and bottoms (good luck with that).
Kind of feel a bit stuck at the moment. Have a bit of a stash of BTC and feel like it will be enough to retire on in a few years. But I need to keep ploughing through and have no interest in work. Would much rather be doing something else. But don't feel I can walk away as I don't have enough BTC based on current USD value. If it pumps to 500k then happy days, but now I need to wait and this is super-frustrating.

I find that I come to Nostr and then leave for a few weeks and then tap back into it. I initially felt this was an issue. But have now decided that 100% uptime engagement with legacy social media is the issue and no human was designed to be constantly connected to social media!
Same thing happened to me a few years ago. Trying to hold an angry cat is like trying to wrestle a devil. Bloody things did a "chucky" head turn and sunk it's teeth into my hand. 12 hours later I was on IV antibiotic in an Emergency room.
Maybe BTC just completely rips into Christmas and New year.

You know I used to look at Boomers and think, shit you guys had it so sweet. Now I realise that everyone will be looking at people born in the 70's and 80's who grabbed bitcoin and think the same.
The problem with Lightning wallets is that you tend to set them up and then forget what they are connected to and how they interact with things. Like leaving your wallet on the train regularly.
