Tried to update Bitcoin Core node on Umbrel. Something went wrong. Tried to upgrade Umbrel. Full system stall and Micro SD corruption on Raspberry Pi. Oh well. Maybe there is a message in that.

My relationship with Nostr is in stark contrast to the one I had with Twitter, Instagram, etc. More balanced, not manic, no digital addiction.

So riddle me this. If I am trying to read for an hour a day, learn a musical instrument for an hour, exercise for an hour, cook and eat, sleep 8 hours, be present with my family and kids, see friends, and also work… there are not enough hours in the day.

Feel like I need a really good sleep. But so much other stuff keeps getting in the way!

I am degoogled, no gmail and use brave browser and search. YouTube is a difficult beast to control. But at least when you use YouTube on Brave there are not adds all the time.

The good thing and bad thing about Nostr is that there is no algorithm driving your engagement. So staying connected to the community is based on internal drive as opposed to subconscious manipulation of your dopamine pathways.
