We may not need mass adoption. We just need fiat liquidity.
Imagine you buy a taco for $5 and then announce it to the world as, "selling $5 worth of Bitcoin". If someone accepts to pay you and you transfer the Bitcoin to him, you've essentially done a Bitcoin transaction for a taco.
An app that takes people away from centralized exchanges and into decentralized p2p trades backed by receipts of fiat pay in the real world.
Every dollar spent will be taken away in Bitcoin.

HE KNEW
Awesome, I especially liked the first few chapters describing the history of money and really enjoyed the strong critique of the "fiat muslim", it was like a one-sided roast battle, but also very true. Been recommending it to so many people with a flawed understanding of both money and Bitcoin.
Have a long trip today.
What book should I read?
Recommendations regarding the following topics are welcome:
- Anything to do with Islam
- Anything to do with Bitcoin
It would be ideal if it's on Google Play Books

EXAAAAAACTLY as predicted
Everyone says non-kyc
What do you use for non-kyc? Bisq?
It has done the same for me as well. That's why I think when we conceive of a circular economy, it should be around needed goods like food and shelter.
Yes, we've become more conscious buyers. Great. But we still gotta eat. That's why I love initiatives like nostr:npub12pl4h7pk0svg8ug4mhu7a90hn6nf83eqadd94pccgsafn73s392qpt42wq where you can buy (healthy) food with sats instead of buying unhealthy foods with fiat. Those are the kinds of projects that are needed to help kick start circular economies in real life.
I love what nostr:npub1uzt238htjzpq39dxmltlx60vxym9fetk9czz6kddq6fhvkf4z3usy9qtrh is doing too!
Yes but afaik, generating a .apk can be done from code without needing to submit anywhere. This is how FOSS apps are distributed on Android. Just a github repo with releases that have the apk, no play store at all.
Might be something to consider for future mobile adoption without submitting anywhere, unless there is something I'm missing.
